VHF Radios
Primary VHF
We have 4 VHF radios on Rosie. The two main ones share the mast head antenna via an AB Box located at the back of the fuse cupboard at the NavStation. Select cockpit or NavStation before using. If cockpit is selected, the NavStation VHF will still be able to pickup and transmit to boats in the same anchorage. We have an emergency Antenna located in the top companion way step locker and we have a spare mast head antenna located on the shelf in the quarter berth.

Other VHFs
Broken VHF
Standard Horizon, previous model to that above. Also has a megaphone feature when connected to a speaker (used to have one in the spreaders but rusted away and was removed). I have been meaning to get round to repairing it for 5 years now, over to you! It is located on the top shelf at the NavStation.
NavStation VHF
Features include, SCAN & USA/INTL. Nothing special but works well.
HandHeld VHF
This is a water proof model with rechargable battery pack and AC adaptor or it takes AA batteries. It is located currently in the grab bag since we are sailing but will probably be in the NavStation table when we sell the boat.

What are people saying about Sailing to Jessica?
"Part travelogue, part memoir, part craziness (they sailed around the world without actually knowing how to sail!) Sailing to Jessica holds nothing back..." - Katie on Goodreads.com
